  The couple times that I have been to the facility everyone appeared nice and professional. To my husband it was a horrible experience. Dr.’s and nurses were professional and kind. They were knowledgeable in the areas we needed and gave us information when needed. The facility was clean and orderly. Now the couple of complaints that i do have which was just a lack of communication. Not a big deal, but i was asked which pharmacy we used and we told them which one we used. They stated that they would send the prescription and we would have to get an authorization and pick it up and make the phone call to set up another appointment to have the medication administered. Which is fine. I went to the pharmacy we use and they said they didn't have any prescription here for my daughter, and that they would not even be able to get that medication at there facility. So i called Konza and they told me that they used their facility for the prescription. This has happened twice. Not a big deal, but frustrating when they ask you what pharmacy you use and its not there and then find out they used there facility instead of what you spoke about during the office visit. Next, my husband went in right to his appointment from work. He had put on some cologne. Which we all know that maybe you shouldnt do, but he did what he had to do in a pinch. This is where the front desk “girls” LACKED PROFESSIONALISM IN THE WORK PLACE. My husband was so embarrassed by what the girls were saying about him and the bad mouthing and saying so many rude things about his scent. Had he not needed his medication for this appointment and took off from work to be here he would have left and never came back. He was truly upset and spoke to the nurse and Dr about this situation. They apologized for their behavior. We appreciated that, but it wasnt for them to have to apologize for other peoples actions. We do not know if there was action taken or not. The sad thing is they are working in a health care setting where there will be weird/bad smells, bad breath, and bad odor, but we dont say anything. We continue to do our jobs in the ut most professional way. Because we don't want to hurt a patients feelings, especially if its something that they can’t control. They already feel bad enough that they have this problem. We as healthcare professionals should not bad mouth a patient for whatever reason that they are walking through that door. They should feel comfort when they walk in those doors because for some people it takes an act of congress to get them through that door. That is a big step, and when they over hear staff saying bad things about a person regardless of the reason when it could have taken courage to get there its very disheartening to know that they cant find comfort at their Dr.’s office. Showing compassion for the patient was clearly not handled on the office side. Nurses and Dr. did great trying to handle the situation. So thank you for that! Treat people the way you would want to be treated. I think communication was handled poorly, but if this gets rectified, I truly feel that this is a great facility just please conduct yourselves in a more positive professional manner and lets not tare the patient down. Build them up regardless of their issues.
